Coming in December...

We had an ultrasound last week and were thrilled to discover that Elijah will be getting a little brother for Christmas! The due date is actually December 6th, so hopefully the little man will come well before Christmas. Now we just have to narrow down our names...

Elijah's 1st birthday

Elijah celebrated his first birthday on Saturday, the 9th. What happened to our little baby? We can't even remember his newborn days, they went by so fast. We actually ended up celebrating on Sunday since we were on our way back from Colorado on Saturday. Elijah had to spend 16 hours on his birthday strapped in his carseat, which didn't really put him in the mood for celebrating that day. But he was a trooper. There were only a few screams of frustration heard from the backseat.
Our celebration on Sunday was cozy, just the 3 of us, well, 4, including Junior. We took Elijah out to eat and then, went shopping for a little kiddie pool since it was such a scorcher, but everywhere we went, they were sold out. Thankfully, Elijah was not aware of what he was missing out on. That evening we enjoyed some cake and watched Elijah rip open his gifts. He was thrilled. Check out the pictures below.
